HIGHEST STANDARDS IN TERMS OF HYGIENE AND DESIGN
- You have 2 options: a sensor with FDA-compliant design or EHEDG.
The EHEDG design differs fundamentally from the standard design.
- Firstly, the construction of the process connection and flush-welded socket has been modified. The process connection is no longer flat but conical. The EHEDG approval is only valid for the conical design of the welding socket and the process connection of the device.
- Weld seams now also meet the surface quality of Ra 0.8 um. The use of special seals and lubricants is required.
- The measuring paddle has received a special construction. To minimize polishing, a left-hand thread M6 x 0.5-LH has been incorporated into the shaft. Measuring paddles can be connected via these threads.
- The goal of the adjustments was to avoid even more dead space and to make the cleaning of the installed sensors even safer.
- Temperature units up to a maximum of 150°C can be offered with FKM shaft seal.
This development promises an even more precise and reliable level measurement in sensitive industrial sectors such as food production, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. The EHEDG certification ensures that the rotary paddle switch meets stringent hygiene requirements, which is particularly crucial for ensuring the highest product quality and safety. With this new EHEDG version, companies can optimize their processes while adhering to the strictest hygiene standards.
